Shoe Care Guide

to make your leather shoes last longer!

How to take care of leather shoes?

It is essential to take care of full-grain leather shoes. Use a sealant spray at least once month. When you’re not wearing them, use tissue paper or shoe trees to keep their shape and protect them from humidity.

Twice a month, brush the leather with a soft brush and use shoe polish (make sure to use a colour that is suited to your leather). Ask your local shoe repair shop for help when choosing your shoe polish. Once dry, use a leather sealant spray to protect your shoes.

Avoid wearing Swivells shoes on rainy days. If your shoes get wet, do not dry them close to a heat source. Allow them to dry naturally and place newspaper, shoe trees or tissue paper inside them to absorb the moisture.

Leather soles are slippery when first used. To extend the life of the soles and give them better grip, use sole protectors for your Swivells.
